My Parents Bought Me Grow Boxes for Christmas

My brother is really good at cooking. He can really make you ask for more than one serving whenever he cooks. Because of this, our parents support him. They buy him stuff he needs and wants in cooking. They are even going to send him to a cooking school at the right age. I wasn’t really envious about it because I also benefit from the delicious meals he prepares and besides, it’s his dream. However, what I feel sad about is my parents don’t give much attention to the things I want to do. Well, that’s what I thought. I’m really fond of plants. I love growing various crops and shrubs at home. I thought it wasn’t important for them because when I asked them to buy me a grow box, they told me it wasn’t that important but they bought my brother a new set of knives. That was the last time I asked something from them. Then on Christmas Eve, I was surprised to see not one but four grow boxes in the living room. No one in the family except me loves plants so I knew those were for me. I couldn’t remember what I said but I remember hugging my mom really tight. It was one of the best gifts I ever received. There I was thinking they didn’t care about what I do only to find out in the end they were planning to give it as Christmas gift for me. After seeing, I immediately checked it out.
